About Stuart

Stuart began working for his father's accounting firm at the age of 18 before going on to graduate with his Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University with honors in Accounting in 1990. He then passed the CPA exam in May of 1990 and began his professional career with Coopers & Lybrand in Chicago.

Stuart returned to Central Illinois to rejoin his father's firm; the firm was incorporated in 1995, and after his father became ill in 1997, Stuart bought the family business. He has been blessed to grow and thrive with offices in Pekin and Peoria, Illinois. Breeden Accounting, Ltd. helps individuals with budgeting, tax planning and preparation, and also consults with small- and medium-sized businesses in the areas of taxation, budgeting, finance and management.

In addition to being a CPA, Stuart has been an independent financial advisor since 1994. Stuart is dedicated to further growing and developing the investment portion of his business, Breeden Asset Management. He joined cfd Investments, Inc. and Creative Financial Designs, Inc. in October of 2007, and now serves over 200 clients' retirement and non-retirement needs. Breeden Asset Management helps its clients achieve their financial dreams through goal setting, risk and cash management, and investment planning.

Stuart is dedicated to helping others in both a professional and personal capacity by building relationships and helping them achieve their dreams. He is active in his church and is involved with Crown Financial Ministries, assisting individuals in getting out of debt. Stuart puts his family and his faith first. He and his wife Tamara, who currently acts as his assistant, have been married since 1992; they reside in Tremont, Illinois with their two sons, Chase and Bryce.
